Priests Golf And Tennis Outing

This event provides Priests and Seminarians an opportunity to get together and enjoy an afternoon of golf or tennis, then dinner. This is also a fundraiser for both clubs for Virtus et Veritas Ministries. Our Club makes arrangements for the location and food, then coordinates the program in conjunction with the Serra Club of West Omaha.

Priests Jubilarian Lunch Or Dinner

This lunch or dinner is organized by the Priest's Council in honor of fellow priests celebrating major ordination anniversaries. Our Club has been invited to serve the meal and clean up. This may move to various locations in the Archdiocese.

Seminarian Send-Off Picnic

This is usually held the first weekend in August before Seminarians return to seminaries. This is coordinated with the Vocations Office for the date and location of this picnic - typically at an Omaha parish. Our Club orders the food, members serve the picnic lunch and do the cleanup. Our Club oversees this event with the Serra Club of West Omaha invited to attend.

Retired Priests Appreciation Sundae Sunday

To honor retired priests in the afternoon of the last Sunday in September. This is held at the St. John Vianney Residence. This event includes a sundae bar complete with ice cream and all of the toppings, a program and polo shirts as gifts for the priests. Members send out invitations, register attendees, coordinate the program, serve the ice cream and give out the polo shirts.

Seminarian Visits / Care Packages

Care packages are prepared to be given to Seminarians. Committee members work with the Archdiocesan Vocations Office and possible youth groups who are visiting the seminarians. Members may also be able to go on visits to the seminary.
